Le climat maritime frais et pluvieux de la côte de Galicie espagnole se prête à merveille aux cépages blancs à maturité précoce. Ici, dans le Val Do Salnes, la plus vieille sous-zone de l’appelation Rias Baixas, est né l’Albarino, cépage emblématique de la région. Sans surprise donc, la Bodega Aquitania, qui dispose de chais ultramoderne, bien campée dans le Val do Salnes face à la baie d’Arosa, ne produit que de l’Albarino qu’elle décline en six cuvées représentatives d’un terroir granitique unique.

Depuis 1925, la famille Morales met en valeur le terroir de Labarca à quelques kilomètres à l’ouest de Logrono sur la rive nord de l’Ebro au coeur des hauts plateaux (400-600 m) de la Rioja Alavesa. Les chais ultra-modernes garantissent une manipulation soignée des cuvées avant leur élevage dans la cave où plus de 1000 barriques (70% francaises, 30% USA) reposent avant de livrer l’essence du terroir d’Alavesa.
